KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work in team oriented environment, supporting Microsoft Windows systems.
  • Work on smaller, moderately complex projects that require a singular area of expertise.
  • Work closely with business analysts and team members to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
  • Use SDLC concepts for designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Follow policies and procedures like change management, project governance and software configuration management.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Required/must have the following skills:

  • Solid understanding of the web-based system architecture and technologies.
  • Solid web development skills and experience with web development tools (ASP, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, .NET, Interdev, Excel Visual Basic) (4 years or more)
  • Solid understanding and working knowledge of SQL, scripting, and database (Oracle, SQL SERVER)
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills

Desired/Plus (experience in the following):

  • Development environments: Experience with XML technologies including XSD and XSL.
  • Create Performance test plan, regression test plan and manual test plan.
  • Reporting tools such as Crystal, Business Objects, Cognos etc.
  • Testing tools.
  • Windows shell scripts.

BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE

Required/must have the following skills:

  • Experience working in ASP.NET, C# with products, derivative products, etc. (5+ years or more)

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE

Required/must have the following skills:

  • 5+ year application development with the required technical experience listed above.
  • Direct interaction with business analysts.

EDUCATION

Required/Must have: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related.
